Dina Meyer was born and raised within Forest Hills Queens New York. Just before finishing her junior year, she relocated out of Queens and moved to Dix Hills Long Island. She has two younger siblings and an older brother. The first time she was in the industry of entertainment was as she was modeling from ages nine to 16. Ron Stetson was her teacher at The Neighborhood Playhouse where she started studying Sanford Meisner's acting methods for about three years. Sandra Bullock received similar training as did Michael Douglas and Jeff Goldblum. Leslie Nielsen, Diane Keaton are among the actors that have undergone similar training. She was cast in Beverly Hills 90210, and was forced to relocate in Los Angeles to take the role. Within the following couple of months, she was offered the role of Johnny Mnemonic. For this film, she was the one responsible of almost every stunt and demonstrated herself as an accomplished actress. Through her agent who also is the representative of Matt LeBlanc she scored a role as a guest star on Friends.
