Jamie Colby

Colby is employed by Fox News since July 2003 as National News Correspondent and Anchor. Colby has worked as anchor and reporter for CBS News in addition to being an anchor fill-in for CBS Up to the Minute. She was also formerly as a CNN reporter. She was also an anchor for WPIX/WB-11 New York, a reporter at WNYW FOX 5 New York, and a correspondent/co-anchor on FOX News' WebMD TV. Colby is a lawyer licensed to practice law throughout New York, California, Florida as well as in the District of Columbia. In 2002, she received the Edward R.Murrow National Award for her coverage of the terrorist attacks on 9/11. Colby also received the Gracie Award for investigative journalism in 2000, as well as in 2001, the Clarion Award by the Association for Women in Communications. Television Week named her "Rising News Star to Be Watching". Aside from her journalism career, Colby, an attorney, served in private practice for 10 years. The law practice she was practicing began with an Hollywood entertainment firm that assigned Colby as a reporter for The Tonight Show. She was 22 when she joined the show. Colby began her career as a reporter as well as host for Johnny Carson, both during the contract renewal of NBC together with him, as well as his divorce. Colby has been an Fox Business reporter and host who has reported on Strange Inheritance from January 2015.
