Alison Doody
Alison Doody was born in Dublin in 1966. She was raised in a well-off family. She was the youngest of three children. Her education was in a convent, where she was able to develop a passion for arts. Later, she studied at the National College of Fine Arts in Dublin but left due to the fact that she had a lack of motivation. She thought she'd have a rest for a time to make sure she got familiar with the area. Meanwhile, while sitting at a caf with her friends and chatting with friends, she was approached by a photographer in a still mode who inquired if she'd be interested to model. As if she had pocket money, she said yes. Modelling was both profitable and enjoyable, and quickly she was modeling professionally. Modeling contracts lead to commercial opportunities which took her across the globe. One day, a casting director saw her work and suggested she try acting instead. She was sent to London when she was 19 where she quickly won an audition to appear in the new James Bond film, A View to a Kill (1985). It was her passion for acting that has led her to study it as a profession. After the first film she acted in, she shot a few TV series in London as well as in Dublin however her biggest break came when she got cast as Aryan seductress Dr. Elsa Schneider in Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade (1989).
